If you’re visiting Ashton Gate Stadium for the first time or haven’t been for a while, then it’s worthwhile you familiarise yourself with the stadium using the information below.

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the worldwide pandemic The Killers concert at Ashton Gate Stadium was postponed to May, 2022. 

The below should help cover any questions you may have:

What is the new rescheduled date?

Thursday, May 26th 2022

What are the start and finish times for the concert?

The fan village will open at 3.30pm and the stadium bowl 5.30pm. The support act will commence at 7.30pm and the concert will end at 10.25pm. Please note we will not have the exact time that the artist will be on stage so are unable to confirm this.

Are the Manic Street Preachers still the support act?

Yes, the Manic Street Preachers are still the support act for the concert at Ashton Gate Stadium.

I bought a hospitality package - do I need to do anything?

No – your package will automatically be transferred to the new date.

I bought a general admission ticket – what happens now and what if I can’t make the new date?

If I have booked travel with you (through Bristol Sport Supporter Services), is this transferable?

Yes - Your travel ticket will be transferred automatically to the new concert date. If you still have a question please email: quoting your booking reference.

I bought a disabled access ticket – do I need to do anything?

No – your tickets and any additional service you booked will automatically be transferred to the new date. Our supporter services team will be contacting all bookings in the coming days with more information.

I bought a disabled access ticket – what if I can’t make the new date?

Please email the stadium supporter services team on and quote your booking information – someone in the supporter services team will respond directly.

If I have booked parking with you, is this transferable?

If you have bought parking through our hospitality package it will be transferred automatically to the new concert date and the events team will reconfirm that with you in due course.

How do I get to Bristol, Ashton Gate?

Is there parking available at the Stadium?

Resident Parking Schemes, road closures and parking suspensions will be in force around the stadium so fans are encouraged to not travel by car. Event special buses will be in operation with full details to be released soon.

There is no parking available at the stadium.

Disabled parking is also currently available nearby. To book please call 0117 963 0600.

Can I get dropped off and picked up at the Stadium?

There is no designated drop off or pick up point at the Stadium or in the immediate vicinity. In the interests of public safety the roads surrounding the Stadium will be closed at the end of the concert to ensure pedestrians can leave the event safely.

What can I bring with me?

If it is necessary to bring a bag, ensure it is as small as possible.  Nothing larger than size A4 will be permitted. 

Suitable clothing in case of inclement weather. Umbrellas will not be permitted inside the venue.

One bottle of water (500ml or smaller) in transparent plastic will be permitted, but these must be sealed on entry.

What should I NOT bring with me?

All bags will be searched on entry and anything larger than A4 size will not be permitted.  The following is a list of prohibited items (please check nearer to the time of the concert for any updates):

  • Glass, cans, bottles or thermos flasks of any kind
  • Flammable liquids and aerosols (including perfume, hairspray etc)
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Laptops, Ipads, professional cameras/video equipment
  • Food and drink, unless for medicinal purposes
  • Umbrellas, signs, banners, flags, inflatables, selfie sticks
  • Air horns, whistles or other noise making devices
  • Knives or weapons, fireworks, confetti, glitter bombs or sprays

Is there an opportunity to do special announcements?

No. It will not be possible to request special announcements or displays on screens.

Where are the bars and toilets?

There will be a wide range of bars and food outlets located around the Stadium both inside the concourses and outside in the fan village. There are also plenty of toilets located inside the concourses as well as temporary toilets in the fan village.

What is in the Fan Village?

The Fan Village, opens at 3.30pm and has a great choice of food outlets as well as bars. There will also be pre-concert entertainment to get you in the mood for the concert.

Are there cash machines at the stadium?

No, unfortunately we do not have any cash machines at the Stadium. 

Are there smoking areas inside the stadium?

Smoking/ Vaping is not permitted inside the stadium.

Accessibility Issues

If your status has changed during the last two years and you now need to apply for accessible seating, we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Given the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic and the postponements to the concert we may not be able to provide you with suitable accessible seating as these areas were all sold out in the first instance.

If you need to apply for a change, please email and put in the subject header “Concert – Accessibility”. Someone from the team will then contact you directly. Our Customer Services team is working hard to find alternative accessible seats on a case-by-case basis.

Can I buy a hospitality ticket for the concert?

Hospitality tickets are now SOLD OUT.

How many tickets can I buy?

Each person can buy up to four tickets.

What are the age restrictions?

General restrictions; U16s accompanied by 18+, no children under 5 years old

Pitch Standing; No U14s, U16s must be accompanied by 18+

Reserved Seating; U16s accompanied by 18+, no children 5 and under

Can I buy tickets on the day?

The concert has sold out meaning no tickets are available on the day.

Can children and babies get in free with a parent?

No, everyone entering the stadium must have a ticket. It is not advisable to bring very young children to the concert due to the noise levels experienced.

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets or E tickets will be sent closer to the show date.

I have lost my ticket, what should I do?

Please contact your point of purchase.

What do I do if I need to change my ticket after I have purchased?

Please contact your point of purchase.

I bought tickets from an unauthorised secondary ticket reseller and need to check the validity?

We advise purchasing from partnered ticket sellers only. In this instance we would advise that you need to contact the secondary site as we have no control over tickets being sold by unauthorized sites.

I live outside of the UK; will you mail my tickets to me?

Please contact your point of purchase and advise them your details.

What if I have a general admission ticket, where do I sit/stand?

Standing tickets are for standing space on the pitch.

If I have Pitch Standing do I have access to any seats?

No, there are no seats on the pitch.  Anyone who has purchased tickets for either of these two areas, both of which are on the pitch, will not have access to any seats in the stands as these have all been sold and are, therefore, reserved.

If I have purchased a reserved seat in a Stand, do I have access to the pitch?

No, we have a strict capacity for the number of people on the pitch for safety reasons, therefore, we are unable to permit those customers with reserved seats in the stands to have access onto the pitch.

Terms and conditions

All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Only customers holding a valid ticket will be admitted. You must retain your ticket on your persons at all times onsite

As the lead booker you are responsible for all your groups’ tickets. We will not be held responsible for any ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed. You are solely responsible for the safe-keeping of your ticket. It is not always possible to issue duplicate tickets. If duplicates are issued, a reasonable administration fee may be charged.

You may not re-sell or transfer a ticket for commercial gain. If a ticket is re-sold, transferred or advertised for profit or commercial gain, it will be void and you will be refused entry to, or ejected from, the stadium without refund.

We operate CCTV on the premises to detect and deter crime and for safety purposes.  By entering the premises you consent to CCTV images being taken of you and these will be held for a maximum of 8 weeks in line with Data Protection before they are destroyed

A search and screening system will be in place. No bags larger than an A4 piece of paper or alcoholic drinks can be taken past this point.

Only water no more than 500ml in a sealed plastic bottle will be allowed into the footprint past security and screening or an empty reusable water bottle. Should the security threat level rise before the event the Search and Screening Policy will be reviewed and should this happen, we may invoke a ‘No Liquids’ Policy.  Details of this will be published prior to the event if required.

No food or drink purchased in the fan village will be permitted in the hospitality suites.

Smoking/ Vaping is not permitted inside the hospitality suites or stadium bowl. A designated smoking area will be made available outside the entrances.

All advertised times are approximate and subject to change. It is your responsibility to make appropriate arrangements to ensure that you arrive at the stadium in sufficient time

By booking hospitality with us you agree that you shall be fully responsible for ensuring that you, your guests and any other person whom you either invite to attend at the premises:

  • Are at all times courteous and respectful to all other persons on the premises, including other guests and staff.
  • Comply with all reasonable instructions of our staff.
  • Do not engage in any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour or use racist, discriminatory, foul or abusive language.
  • Do not take any action which may negatively affect the health and safety of any persons on the Premises.
  • Do not bring any alcohol, illegal substances or drugs onto the Premises or enter or be on the Premises whilst under the influence of any illegal drugs.
  • Do not enter or be on the premises whilst drunk.
  • Dress code, not specified.
  • Enter any areas of the premises which are not open to the general public, unless with the express permission or instruction of our any steward or officer and/or any police office.
  • Will not interfere with, tamper or cause any damage to the Premises or to any equipment, furniture, fixture or fitting within the Premises and will be liable for the costs of repairing and or replacing any damaged property and any other associated liabilities, losses, costs and/or expenses.
  • Will not interfere with, tamper or cause any damage or injury to any person or their property whilst on the Premises and will be liable for the costs of repairing and or replacing any damaged property and any other associated liabilities, losses, costs and/or expenses.
  • Do not bring any item onto the Premises which may pose a hazard or nuisance to any other person including but not limited to knives, fireworks, explosives, smoke canisters, flares, illegal substances, laser devices, drones or any other item that may be used as a weapon.

You also agree that:

  • We may refuse you and/or your guests admission if you are unable to show an event ticket;
  • Young persons under the age of 16 cannot enter or be left at the Premises unattended and must be supervised by an adult (aged 18+) at all times. The supervising adult is totally responsible for the behaviour of young persons at all times and young persons shall be expected to adhere to these House Rules.

  • We operate under a Licensing Act 2003 premises licence and reserve the right to ask you, or your guests for industry recognised identification when purchasing alcoholic beverages. If you are buying alcoholic beverages for more than one person, we reserve the right to ask for industry-recognised identification from all parties who are receiving a drink. We reserve the right not to serve alcoholic beverages to anyone who is not able to provide suitable identification, or to anyone else for any reason.

We may ask you or any other person to leave the Premises at any time if we reasonably consider that you are not in compliance with the above rules. If someone is ejected and/or refused entry, there is no right to a refund.
