Ashton Gate Stadium, also home to Bristol City Football Club, is the leading sports and leisure venue in the South West of England.

Ashton Gate Stadium hosts a variety of events throughout the calendar year. Including the British & Irish Lions tours live at the Bristol Sports Bar & Grill, we host a number of prestigious sporting events on the biggest indoor pub screen in the UK.

This summer Wimbledon will be shown at the Sports Bar as well as our regular cocktail making masterclasses and our MoTown tribute night later in the year.

As well as hosting Ashton Gate events, we offer function room hire at very competitive rates for your very own party or event.

    World Cup Village at Ashton Gate

    June 14th to July 14th

    Ashton Gate will be the place to be to watch all of this summer’s key FIFA World Cup matches.

    Every match from the 2018 World Cup in Russia will be broadcast in on the largest indoor pub screen in the UK at the Bristol Sports Bar & Pizzeria.

    In addition, as the British summer finally arrives, a large Fan Village will be set up at the stadium, sponsored by Gorilla Grass, who will be providing the seated lawn.

    In the Fan Village will be a prosecco bar, Martin Miller Gin bar, cocktail bar, fish and chips and a BBQ.

    Make Some Noise - Celebrity Football Match

    Join Bristol City legends and celebrities from EastEnders and The Only Way Is Essex at Ashton Gate for a family charity football match supporting amazing children’s charities across the West Country.

    Radio station Heart has so far signed up, from Bristol City, legends Scott Murray, Louis Carey and Robin’s team coach, Lee Johnson. From your TV, Jake Wood, best known for playing Max Branning in EastEnders. Reality TV star, model and footballer, Calum Best and T.O.W.I.E. stars Jamie Argent aka ‘Arg’ and Dan Osborne. More players to be announced in the coming weeks.

    VegfestUK welcomes a whole new set of features as well as retaining its traditional flavours in the form of more than 200 stalls, spread over three main concourses.

    The flagship Lansdown Restaurant, which can hold up to a thousand theatre-style, will play host to a variety of educational talks and cookery demos, all of which will run until 6pm each day. Meanwhile, a number of outdoor catering stalls will line Marina Dolman Way along the Lansdown Stand recreating a matchday “fan village” with local DJ’s and acoustic acts adding to the outdoor atmosphere.
